Doll & Pet Parade scheduled for June 19

CLEAR WATER, Wis. (WEAU) – The Clear Water Kiwanis Doll and Pet Parade takes place Sunday, June 19 at Owen Park in Eau Claire.

The parade starts at 2 p.m. Registration/Registration from 1:00 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. in Owen Park near the tennis courts. There is no cost to participate. The Big Animal of the Chippewa Valley contest is also back this year. Submission of your pet is free. Votes cost $1. The pet with the most votes will serve as the grand marshal for the doll and pet parade. Click HERE to enter. Voting ends June 10. All funds raised will be used locally for projects in the Chippewa Valley.


• Open to all participants up to 12 years old

• All children must register on the day of the parade for door prizes and drawings

• Small battery vehicles allowed

• Entrants will be judged on originality, child participation, theme and quality of construction

• Theme of the event: 75 years of magic

• All judges’ decisions are final

• Candy can be dispensed, but cannot be thrown

• ALL animal vaccinations must be up to date in order to participate in the parade
