Page Animal Hospital has launched dog and cat boarding services at its location at 87 South 7th Avenue in Page.
“PAH Boarding Services provides a professional, comprehensive, fun and safe service for boarding your doggies and kittens,” the hospital said in a press release last week. “We provide loving care when you’re not around. Come sit, play, eat, rehearse, with us! Only the best for your furry baby.
The boarding service is offered at the same facility as Page Animal Hospital, which has temporarily suspended veterinary services as part of the search for a new full-time veterinarian. The hospital is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who refers a full-time veterinarian to work at the facility.
“Page Animal Hospital has provided pet boarding service in the past, but due to increased demand for PAH’s veterinary services, accommodation has become very limited for pet boarding,” said Lynda Marpole, PA to hospital director and CEO Cami Cotter at Lake Powell Chronicle. by email.
“If/when veterinary services resume and the pet boarding service at that time proves very profitable, we will work to continue the pet boarding service either on a smaller scale or to research another dwelling.”
The main caregiver for the boarding animal service is TC Holman, a native of Page, who started working for Page Animal Hospital as a kennel attendant in the hospital and at the boarding house, while he was still in high school over 16 years ago.
Page Animal Hospital Boarding Service is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday.
