Whether your furry baby needs a bath, a haircut, or a nail cut, Shannon’s Grooming is the place to go.

Shannon Croskrey and her husband Matthew opened their business a year ago, and the dog parade goes on and on six days a week.

“I always knew I wanted to work with animals,” said Shannon, who takes care of the grooming while Matthew takes care of day-to-day business operations. “We take care of all sizes and races. We are always very busy. We booked 2-3 weeks in advance. We have a large and loyal clientele.

Shannon got her start in grooming as a hairstylist, but soon realized it wasn’t her passion. She started working with a dog groomer and fell in love with the job. She worked for three years at Classy Critter in Pasco before opening her own business.

“The school of cosmetology has proven to be helpful in this area,” Shannon said.

Shannon’s Grooming offers boarding, but limits it to one or two pets at a time.
